2008-04-23 Not much action lately
I'm posting this just to let you know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't had much time to work on this project the latest week as RL and other projects have interfered. Don't worry though, I will be back soon with some new ToA stuff. I will be out of town over the weekend however. Which means that while I will have web access (I'm staying at a friend's place), I won't be reachable on IRC/MSN/etc until monday night (CET). Try not to break anything while I'm gone. xD

2008-04-19 How to join
Recently, there has been some confusion on how to register for the forums. I am here to clear that up for you. First off, join wikidot. After that, click the "Join This Project" link on the side bar. Its in the Q&A, but here it is again. By joining the project, you are just registering for the forums. This does NOT mean that you ever have to do anything. Ever. We check for applications several times a day, so it shouldn't be overly long before you are accepted into the project. Enjoy!

2008-04-10 Site of the week!
To my great surprise, I found out that our humble ToA site has been selected Site of the week here on wikidot.com! I certainly didn't see that one coming, seeing as the site design is still incomplete and all. Nontheless, I think I can speak for everyone on the team when I say: thank you, we are honored!

2008-04-09 Browser issues
I've noticed that this site doesn't render correctly in IE7; some background graphics get misaligned, particulary the sidebar background and the main content headers. Normally I couldn't care less as I refuse to jump through hoops to support sucky browsers. However, the same thing happens in Opera, which makes me think I need to fix it somehow. I just don't know what's causing it. If I change it so that it looks good in Opera, it breaks in Firefox instead. :/ So, if you know CSS, feel free to have a look at it. Just make sure to save a backup of the code before you make any major changes.
And yes, the recommended browser for viewing the site is Mozilla Firefox.

2008-04-03 Away Time
As some people may have noticed, I was away for a little bit (the past two weeks). I will not be able to enter pyweek, because some things came up I had to deal with. Anyhow, I am back and fully function now, so starting this weekend look out for some real progress.

2008-03-31 Site edits
As you can see, I'm working on some changes to the site's visuals. As it is not possible make the changes on a local copy of the site, I have to do this "live". So I'd like to apologize in beforehand if things looks a mess, but it's just a passing phase. Thanks for your patience.
Edit: Well, it's still broken in places but I'll leave this be for tonight. Let me know if you have any suggestions regarding this new look; I'm mostly just improvising here.

2008-03-26 Some graphics-related news
I have added some concept art to the Artwork page. A few experimental screenshots will also be up shortly. Yes — screenshots! We now have a custom iso engine that reads the Tiled map format. The engine is still in its infancy of course, but we now have something very tangible to work from. Great big thanks to mesilliac!
